Staff Sergeant Bryan Sweetman, an enlisted accessions recruiter, was recently named an Operation Blue Suit winner for 2010 for his recruiting efforts for the United States Air Force. He was one of 14 recruiting members selected for this award from more than 1,500 eligible recruiting members.
He is the grandson of Jack and Bonita Welborn, Ottawa.
He was selected based on his recruiting efforts, professionalism and leadership qualities. He is originally from Emporia, is married to Kimberly Sweetman and has one daughter, Sienna. He has served in the Air Force for nearly 10 years and is moving to Nashville, Tenn., for an assignment in May 2011.
