Parents and other district patrons can follow what’s happening at Ottawa High School on its new Facebook page.

“In an effort to help keep you informed about what is happening at OHS, we have created a Facebook account,” Ryan Cobbs, OHS principal, said in an email sent to parents of OHS students. “It is my expectation that information will be funneled this way as a up-to-the-minute opportunity for you to follow what is taking place at OHS.”

District patrons can access the Facebook page via the Facebook icon on the bottom left side of the district’s website: 

People do not need to have a Facebook account to view the page. The page also can be accessed by going to 

The Facebook page, which had 244 likes as of Tuesday afternoon, also includes an icon link to the high school’s Twitter account. As with the Facebook page, people need not have a Twitter account to view the site.
