Alissa Frieden, Ottawa, and Travis Boxberger, Olathe, were married Oct. 30, 2010, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe, in a double-ring ceremony with Father Frank Burger officiating.

She is the daughter of Mark and Becky Frieden, Pomona.

He is the son of Gerald and Shirley Boxberger, Russell.

Her grandparents are Cecil and Darlene Frieden, Pomona; and the late Maurice ďBudĒ and Pauline Green, Ottawa.

His grandparents are the late Herman and Pauline Boxberger, Russell; and the late Matt and Alfreda Grabbe, Hays.

She was escorted by her father, Mark Frieden.

She wore a Casablanca white classic gown with Swarovski crystals, and crystal sequins adorned an A-line silhouette and pleated bodice, accompanied by a waist-length veil accented with scattered crystals throughout.

She carried a bouquet of fall colors, including orange gerber daisies, gold cushion mums, yellow kangaroo paws, black magic roses, safari sunsets, Bells of Ireland and twigs. Tied at the base was the wedding band set of the brideís grandmother, Pauline Green.

Matron of honor was a friend of the bride, Donna Sandbothe, Neodesha.

Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Jennifer Brown, Topeka, and Erica Crist, Overland Park.

Best man was the brother of the groom, Jarett Boxberger, Gardner.

Groomsmen were friends of the groom, Matt Dumler, Hays, and Kelby Wann, Topeka.

Ushers were friend of the groom, Brandon Crichton, Lenexa, and brothers of the bride, Abe Frieden, Topeka, and Adam Frieden, Ottawa.

Readers were Mont and Linda Boxberger, Olathe. Flower girl was a niece of the groom, Brayton Boxberger, Gardner. Ring bearer was a nephew of the groom, Boston Boxberger, Gardner.

Music was provided by the Sunflower String Quartet of Overland Park, including Cecily Mahan, first violinist; LaVonne McDaniel, second violinist; Laura Myers, violist; and Amy Harris, cellist.

A reception was at Prince of Peace Church downstairs in the reception hall with buffet and dancing.

The couple took a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii.

They will reside at Olathe.

She graduated from Pomona High School in 1999, Allen County Community College in 2001, Wichita State University in 2005 with a bachelorís degree in dental hygiene and psychology. She works as a registered dental hygienist at Richard T. Hale, D.D.S., in Ottawa.

He graduated from Russell High School in 2000, Fort Hays State University in 2003 with a bachelorís degree in business administration and marketing and in 2005 with a masterís degree in business administration. He works as a real estate/facilities manager at General Electric in Kansas City.
