Donna Mae (Doyal) Moore, 67, Lenexa, Kan., passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 5, 2014, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral services are planned for 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa KS 66215. Visitation is set for 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is to follow the services in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa.

She was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Roswell, N.M., to Paul and Beulah Doyal.

Donna moved to the Ottawa area in 1967 where she worked at Ransom Memorial Hospital as a lab tech.

She met and married her best friend and soul mate Clinton L. Moore in June 1968.

They then moved to the Kansas City area, ending up in Lenexa.

Donna completed her bachelorís degree in 1983 from Avila University.

Donna had two children, Clinton Dean and Cheryl.

She worked in the lab at KU Med Center for 38 years until she retired in 2011.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Steven) Garrison; grandchildren, Alex, William and Meghan of the home; several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews in Ottawa and surrounding Kansas City areas.

Donna was preceded in death by husband, Clinton L. Moore; and son, Clinton D. Moore.
