WICHITA ó Ottawa University is the leader in the inaugural Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Commissionerís Cup after the fall season.

Ottawa has 49 points to lead the overall standings. The Braves were crowned volleyball and football champions, giving them 20 points. Ottawa finished second in womenís and menís soccer while taking third in womenís cross-country and eighth in menís cross-country.

The KCAC Commissionerís Cup will be awarded annually as a symbol of excellence in athletics over 18 championship athletic events. Member institutions earn points for the finish of each varsity team in officially recognized conference sports.

Ottawa is the womenís leader with 27 points and the men are† third with 22 points.

Kansas Wesleyan is second overall with 47 points after both soccer teams won KCAC titles.

All official conference sports are scored equally. To be a conference sport there must be five member institutions competing in that sport at the varsity level.

The school with the highest point total at the end of each school year will be awarded the Cup.
