The Ottawa University volleyball team split its matches played this weekend at Wilson Field House.

The Lady Braves topped Sterling, 26-24, 25-13, 25-16 Saturday after holding the Warriors to a .061 hitting percentage.

The Lady Braves were led in kills by Avery Ezbrenner with 11. She had a .296 hitting percentage of the match. Christa Hill led Ottawa with 21 assists and Lindsey Widen tallied 12.

Taylor Bridge and Mohsani Hoveyda both had double digit digs. Hoveyda led the team with 15 and Bridge earned 12.

Ottawa fell Friday to College of the Ozarks, 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.

Ottawa finished the three-set match with a .082 hitting percentage.

The Lady Braves were led by Bridge’s double-double. She had 10 kills and was tied for the team high in digs with 12.

Nicole Gingery and Allie Arnold both finished with eight kills apiece.

Widen had 20 assists and Hoveyda tied for the team high with 12 digs.

The Lady Braves (7-9, 4-2) play 7 p.m. Tuesday at Southwestern.
