The Wellsville Crescent Club met Oct. 15 at the home of Flo Lyon. President Midge Casselman opened the meeting with thanking hostess Lyon and co-hostess Cramer.
Due to having to postpone the club’s tour of the new Rehab and Nursing Home Facility because construction is not finished, president Casselman presented the program. She read one article of her mother-in-law’s about how to get sleep. Instead of staring at the ceiling all night, recite the alphabet with prayers for all acquaintances with the letter A, and then with B, etc. Casselman then read an article about tea times. The author (and her husband) made pilgrimages to make a survey of how many men actually drank and liked tea.
Ten members answered a lively roll call with their assigned topics.
There being no old business nor new business, the club adjourned to the business of refreshments and visiting.
The next meeting will be Nov. 19 with a tentatively rescheduled tour of the rehab and nursing home. Hostess and co-hostess will be Dorothy Jones and newly appointed Jean Hopkins.
