Thanks to Andy Haney and the city’s adept tree trunk foliage trimmers, motorists driving east on 11th Street no longer need to giraffe-stretch their necks beyond the steering wheel for safe crossing when stopping at the intersections of 11th and Main streets and 11th and Cedar streets.

Those who say city hall is a waste of time are full of tree bark. Not only are these intersections safer to cross, but from an aesthetics appearance, the west side of Main Street now resembles a scenic boulevard, with the transformation occurring in less than 24 hours since reporting the difficult-to-see-around foliage.
