Three local students were among the more than 1,400 students who completed their degrees at Wichita State University in spring 2013.
Undergraduate students who have attained a GPA of 3.9 out of a possible 4.0 received the summa cum laude award; those with an average of 3.55 received the magna cum laude award; and those with an average of 3.25 received the cum laude.
Local graduates include Cassandra L. Hopkins, Ottawa, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy; Erin H. Stone, Ottawa, Bachelor of Science, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Cum Laude; and Clint M. Schulte, Richmond, Bachelor of Business Admin., Entrepreneurship, Magna Cum Laude.
WSU enrolls nearly 15,000 students and offers more than 50 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in six undergraduate colleges.
Several local students also have been named to the deanís honor roll for spring 2013 at university.
To be included on the deanís honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
