BASEHOR — Ottawa High School senior Dalton Weidl continued to pile up victories with two pins Thursday at Basehor-Linwood.

Weidl paced the Cyclones in the two duals. He was the only winner in Ottawa’s 60-18 loss to Basehor-Linwood. The Bobcats were open in two weight divisions.

Ottawa won four matches in the 51-21 loss to Mill Valley.

“We had some tough matches,” Ottawa coach Joe Tokarz said. “It was good getting Sam Carver back in the lineup from injury ... he started back just as he had left. “Dalton continues to put good matches together.

“We saw improvement from the first dual to the second.”

Weidl, Mickey Jensen, Carver and Bell won their matches against Mill Valley.
