Two Washburn University students from Ottawa have received scholarships from the Washburn School of Business.
Jordan Crowell, Ottawa, has received the Cleora Nemec Business Scholarship. Crowell is a junior and is pursuing a bachelor of business administration degree, with a concentration in finance. In 2012, he received the Arthur L. Shultz Banking and Finance Scholarship.
Evan Mietchen, Ottawa, has received Arthur L. Shultz Banking and Finance Scholarship. He is a freshman and is pursuing a bachelor of business administration degree, with concentrations in finance and economics.
In 2006, the Washburn University School of Business earned accreditation of its bachelorís and masterís degree programs in business administration from AACSB-International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Only the top 5 percent of business programs in the world have achieved AACSB accreditation.
