U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, R-Kan., plans to take questions from area residents and listen to their concerns during a town hall-style meeting 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18 in the city commission chambers at Ottawa City Hall, 101 S. Hickory St., Ottawa. The event is open to the public and the media.

Ottawa city commissioners plan to delay the start of their study session that day from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. so they can attend the meeting.

The event is part of a three-stop tour for Roberts that Monday. He also plans to conduct town hall meetings at 11 a.m. at Allen County Community College in Iola and at 1:30 p.m. at the Garnett Town Hall Center in Garnett.
