NORTH NEWTON — The Ottawa University volleyball team is close to a perfect mark through the first round of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule.
Ottawa defeated Bethel (25-13, 25-12, 25-21) Tuesday in North Newton. Ottawa needs a victory today at home against Kansas Wesleyan (7-1) to sweep their KCAC foes.
Allie Arnold’s 13 kills in 23 attempts paced the Ottawa attack. Taylor Bridge had 11 kills in 24 attemps for a .458 hitting percentage. As a team, the Lady Braves had 48 kills in 108 attempts for a .343 hitting percentage.
Chrissie Jeannin had 40 assists. Katie Jensen led Ottawa (15-5, 8-0) with 13 digs.
