• 4:48 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of East Sixth Street, Susan K. Summers, 33, Ottawa, on suspicion of violating a protection order.

• 9:34 p.m. Tuesday, 2200 block of South Princeton Street, William Ingersoll, 30, on suspicion of battery.

• 12:12 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of South Mulberry Street, John D. Singleterry, 34, Ottawa, on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal restraint and resisting arrest.

Accidents

• 9:37 a.m. Friday, 1600 block of Idaho Road, a vehicle driven by Kelly Shepherd, 33, Pomona, struck a turkey. Damage was estimated at less than $1,000.

• 2:32 a.m. Saturday, 3900 block of Colorado Road, a 2001 Kia Sportage driven by George Harris Jr., 47, Williamsburg, went into a ditch while trying to avoid striking a deer. No injuries were reported.

• 3:16 a.m. Saturday, 500 block of Jefferson Street, Pomona, a 2008 Ford Focus driven by Heather A. Jones, 37, Ottawa, went off the road and struck an embankment. No injuries were reported. [Editor’s note: This wreck victim is not former Franklin County Attorney Heather R. Jones.]

• 10:59 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of South Oak Street, a 32-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole fuel from his vehicle.

• 11:54 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of North King Street, a 77-year-old Olathe man reported an unknown suspect entered his building and stole property.

• 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of North Sycamore Street, a 67-year-old Ottawa woman reported items were stolen from her home.

• 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of South Hickory Street, a 56-year-old Ottawa woman reported items were stolen from her yard.

• 10:47 p.m. Tuesday, 500 block of North Hickory Street, a 22-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect stole her identification.

Accidents

• 4:13 p.m. Tuesday, 600 block of North Davis Avenue, a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by Tracie Penland, 50, Quenemo, struck a 2007 Mazda SUV driven by Scott E. Jones Jr., 27, Ottawa. Penland was cited for inattentive driving.

• 2:02 p.m. Tuesday, 801 1/2 N. Locust St., authorized controlled burning.

• Firefighters assisted with 12 medical calls Friday through Tuesday.

• 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, 4859 Colorado Road, Pomona firefighters responded to a vehicle fire.

• 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, 1057 K-68, Pomona firefighters responded to a grass fire.

• 2:26 p.m. Tuesday, 614 Olive St., Wellsville, Wellsville firefighters responded to a structure fire.
