ALLEN LEE SHUMATE

Allen Lee Shumate, 78, Ottawa, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. 

Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vassar, with military honors by V.F.W. Memorial Post No. 590l.

He was born Saturday, April 7, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., to Samuel and Evelyn (Hale) Shumate.

Family suggests memorial contributions to Franklin County Cancer Foundation through Dengel & Son Mortuary.
