Bobby James Stephenson, 71, Ottawa, passed away Feb. 12, 2013, after suffering from an extended illness.  

Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center St., Gardner KS 66030, (913) 856-7111, with burial following at Gardner Cemetery. Visitation is planned for 1 p.m. before the service.  

Bobby was born Oct. 1, 1941, in Hartville, Mo., to James Ellsworth and Dorthy May (Lansdown) Stephenson.

He was a self-employed truck farmer.

Bobby loved coon hunting and was a member of the National Coonhunters Association. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.  

Survivors include five brothers, Darrell Stephenson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dean Renfro, Jerry Renfro and Richard Renfro, all of Olathe, and Donald Renfro, Edgerton.
