VERNON THOMAS WHARTON

Vernon Thomas Wharton, 97, Pensacola, Fla., died Feb. 19, 2013.

Services are planned for noon Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, Pensacola, Fla., followed by burial at Barrancas National Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.

He was born April 17, 1915, in Worth County, Mo., to Tom and Pearl Wharton.
