Russell L. Kistner, 71, Waverly, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Coffey County Hospital, Burlington. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Waverly gymnasium.
He was born Aug. 6, 1936, at Hall Summit to Loran and Muriel (Westfall) Kistner.
He graduated from Waverly High School in 1954.
He operated the Standard Oil business.
He married Jo Lynn Borgna July 21, 1957, at Wavery. They divorced.
Survivors include daughters, Jody (Kistner) Siebenmorgen, Abilene, Paula Dieker, Iola, and Debbie Otting, Topeka; a sister, Juanita Phillips, Waverly; brothers, Oscar Kistner and Dwight Kistner, both of Waverly; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Phillips, and a brother, Kenneth Kistner.
Burial will be at Waverly Cemetery.
Family will meet with friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Waverly gymnasium.
