Charlie Joe Handley, 50, Ottawa, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
He was born Oct. 2, 1957, at Topeka to Charles and Patricia Handley.
He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1975.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked as a concrete finisher.
He married Charlene Hankin in 1979 in Tennessee. They divorced. He married Hilda Montz in 1989 at Yuma, Ariz. They divorced.
Survivors include his father, Charles Handley, Yuma, Ariz.; his mother, Patricia Handley, Burlington; sons, Charles Handley, Ottawa, and Steven Handley, Yuma, Ariz.; a daughter, Andréa Handley, Yuma, Ariz.; brothers, Wade Handley, Burlington, and Bernard Handley, Jacobs Creek; and a sister, Kandice Williams, Bartlesville, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Rochelle Handley.
Family will meet with friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington.
