LeRoy D. Bien (Bienie), age 83, of Ottawa, Kan., died Friday, June 19, 2009. He was born Monday, Oct. 12, 1925, in Jefferson City, Mo. He was the son of Virgil and Janelle (Blevins) Bien.

He was a lifelong resident of Ottawa.
