DORIS RAYNETTA BRECHEISEN

QUENEMO —Doris Raynetta Brecheisen, 87, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Peterson’s Nursing Home in Osage City. Funeral services will be 10:3 a.m. Wednesday at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon.

She was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Lacrosse, to Wesley and Ruth Waln Adkinson.

She was a homemaker and mother.  

She married to Leonard Brecheisen June 15, 1938, in Vassar. He preceded her in death.  

She was also preceded in death by two grandsons.

Survivors include sons, Leroy Brecheisen, of Quenemo, Jim Brecheisen, of Westminster, Colo., and Fred Brecheisen, of Deertrail, Colo.; a daughter, Linda Crettol, of Osage City; a brother, Willard Adkinson, of Centropolis; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetey at Quenemo.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon.
