JOYCE A. STUERMER

Joyce A. Stuermer, 82, recently of Hiawatha, died Oct. 5, 2012, in Topeka.

Graveside memorial services are planned for 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 N 94th St., Kansas City, Kan.

Stuermer was an alum of and former assistant music professor at Ottawa University.

Survivors include a nephew, Howard Elliott and wife, Lori; and niece, Jean Brintnall and husband, Ray; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ottawa University’s music department through Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 124 S. 7th St., Hiawatha KS 66434.
