FREDERICK O. THOMAS

Frederick O. Thomas, 78, Lane, died Tueday, Oct. 27, 2009, at his home. He was cremated. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Osawatomie Cemetery.

He was born July 6, 1931, to Earl and Olettia (Templeton) Thomas at Grand Pass, Mo.

He served with the U.S. Air Force.

He married Mary Jo Davenport Aug. 2, 1952, at Fort Worth, Texas. They divorced.

He married Sue Golden Sept. 17, 1966, at Miami, Okla. They divorced.

He married Shirley (Crozier) Jordan July 5, 1985, at Osawatomie. She survives.

He worked as superintendent of Atlantic Plant Maintenance.

Survivors also include sons, Kirk Monroe, of Linden, Texas, and Stacy Thomas of Osawatomie; daughters, Tomwa Thomas and Jo Pugh, both of Plattsburg, Mo.; step-son, Thomas Kolosik, of Kansas City, Kan.; step-daughter, Kathryn Brakeville, of Lane; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Lane Methodist Church.
