STEPHEN MICHAEL HECHINGER

Stephen M. Hechinger, 64, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City. Private family services were held.

Steve was born February 6, 1945, in San Francisco, Calif. He was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad where he was a conductor.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Virginia Hechinger.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Haddock and her husband, Paul and their children, River and Lily Haddock, Alton, Mo., his son, Brad Hechinger and his wife, Gina, of Normal, Ill., three younger sisters; Sally Homoly, Holt, Mo., Susan Ard, Lenexa, Kan., and Mary Williams, Trenton, Ill., and many close friends.

Arrangements by Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri, 8837 Roe Ave., Prairie Village KS 66207.
