Donald Eugene Phillips, 62, Kansas City, Kan., died Nov. 1, 2009, at his home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly.

He was born Sept. 7, 1947, at Burlington to James Donald and Juanita Lucille Kistner Phillips.

He graduated from Wyandotte High School.

He worked for Church’s Fried Chicken.

He married Beth Longshore June 28, 1971, at Hamilton, Ill. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, James and Juanita Phillips, Waverly; daughter, Amanda Harris, Olathe; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington. Interment will be at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly.
