JIMMIE RAY BASS IV

JIMMIE RAY BASS IV Jimmie Ray Bass IV, 5, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa.  

He was born Nov. 5, 2003, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Jimmie and Stacie Ball Bass III.

Jimmie had lived in Ottawa and had been in Iowa City for the past year.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Ida Daw, paternal great-grandfathers, Danny Brecheisen and Jim Bass Sr. and his aunt, Michelle Bass.

Jimmie is survived by his parents, Jimmie and Stacie Bass, a sister, Kara Ball, three brothers, Derrick Ball, Keyton Bass and Remmington Bass, all of the home, his maternal grandparents, Mike and Lillian Clifford of Kahoka, Mo., maternal great-grandmother, Norma Whitehead, paternal grandparents, Jim and Beth Bass of Austrailia, Charlene and Dave Bernabe of Vassar, paternal great-grandparents, Marianne Bass of Ottawa and Dorothy Brecheisen of Vassar.

Funeral services for Jimmie will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, southeast of Lyndon.  

Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery.  

Jimmie will lie in repose from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Jimmie Bass Memorial Fund, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon KS 66451.
