Arlene Louise Grimm, 88, Everett, Wash., died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009. A

funeral service was Nov. 3, 2009 at Solie Funeral Home, Everett, Wash.

She was born Oct. 14, 1921, at Harris in Anderson County to Jay L. and Bessie (Bumps) Doty.

She graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1939.

She lived in Ottawa until 1961.

She married Chester D. Grimm Dec. 12, 1942. He survives of the home.

Other

survivors include sons, Richard E. Grimm, Everett, Dale L. Grimm,

Stayton, Ore.; daughter, Barbara C. Gilmore, Dallas, Ore.; sister,

Willa Spencer, Ottawa; brother, Jay Lyle Doty, Quenemo; three

grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Terri Anne Grimm.

A private family graveside service was at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery, Seattle, Wash.
