BETTY ELLEN MOORE

Betty Ellen Moore, 82, Williamsburg, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park.

Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Friends paid their respects to Mrs. Moore from 1 p.m. Tuesday to the service hour at Dengel & Son Mortuary. The family met with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is planned for Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg.

She was born Sunday, Dec. 29, 1929, in Springfield, Mo., the daughter of Fredrick and Maude (McGinnis) Hedrick.

Betty grew up in Springfield. She had been a resident of Williamsburg since 1976, moving from Michigan where she lived many years.

Betty was a homemaker.

On May 29, 1964, Betty was united in marriage with Paul Moore at Flat Rock, Mich. He survives of their home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Maude Hedrick; a daughter, Chanoy Ellen Moore; two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Moore, of the home in Williamsburg; a daughter, Tammy Harabin, Kansas City, Mo.; a granddaughter, Alexandra Harabin, Spring Hill; and a great-grandson, Andrew Eli Chadwick, Spring Hill.

The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Luke’s Hospice of Garnett through Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
