Incidents

• 2:46 a.m. Wednesday, 500 block of North Mulberry Street, a 40-year-old Ottawa man reported he was struck numerous times by multiple unknown subjects demanding his property. The suspects fled the scene with his property. The victim declined medical treatment. The suspected aggravated robbery case is under investigation.  

Thefts

• 8:29 p.m. Sunday, 600 block of South Main Street, a 48-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known man stole some of her items.

• 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, 2100 block of South Princeton Street, Joshua Parker, 23, Lyndon, was arrested for theft after he reportedly stole items from a business.  

• 7:38 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of North Oak Street, a 53-year-old Ottawa man reported that an unknown subject stole items from his vehicle.

Accidents

• 4:13 p.m. Wednesday, 700 S. Main St., a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Lawrence man was struck by an unknown type of vehicle while turning west onto Seventh Street from Main Street. Both drivers left the scene, and the accident was later reported to the police.

• Wednesday, 1000 block of Poplar Street, officers responded to a report of a suspicion of criminal damage to property.

• 11:59 a.m. Wednesday, 2666 I-35, off ramp, firefighters responded to a grass fire.

• Firefighters responded to three smoke alarm activations Wednesday.
