LINTNER: Feeding the hungry flock

Hi, all. Is everyone keeping up with standard winter procedures? Hats and coats while outside, lots of hand washing and keeping your hands and minds occupied to stave off cabin fever? Are your bird feeders full?

When the snow is on the ground, it’s easy to fall behind on mealtimes for our feathered friends. Who wants to go wading through slush and snow carrying heavy bags of seed? Hopefully you do, because the birds depend on us when food gets scarce.
