COLONY — Anderson County and Crest high school students now can apply for the Carol Sprague McGhee Scholarship. Applications are available through the counselor offices at the high schools. Applicants must be seniors or graduates of either school. Graduates must be enrolled in a two- or four-year college or vocational school.

Applications must be returned to the schools by April 1. Two scholarships will be awarded.

Carol Sprague McGhee was a graduate of Crest High School and lived most of her adult life in Greeley. Her two children are graduates of Garnett/Anderson County High School. It was McGhee’s wish that memorial contributions be used to establish a scholarship program.
