Tina Deserie Espinosa, 43, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at her home in Kansas City, Mo.

A service of remembrance is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at First Christian Church, 1000 Argentine Boulevard, Kansas City, Kan.

She was born May 16, 1969, in Kansas City, Mo., to Margarita (Santellan) Sullivan.

Tina grew up in Ottawa, Kan. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1986.

Growing up, Tina enjoyed playing softball, camping and spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Charles Flannery; and her maternal grandparents, Ygnacio and Marcella Santellan.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Margarita and Bill Sullivan; father, Fred Espinosa; brother, Richard Blevins and wife, Atanya; step-brother, Brian Espinosa and wife, Michelle; children, Michael Espinosa, Ashley Kinsman and husband, Joey, Kirsten Brandon, Cheryl Flannery, and Zachariah Flannery; grandchildren, Antonio, Ciera, Marqus and Amaiya; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tina was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She will remain in the hearts and thoughts of her family and friends forever.
