Harland Edward Jones, 81, of Hutchinson, passed away April 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his son in Hutchinson, Kansas. The son of Bennie Benton and Lillian Fay Jones, he was born in Delphos, Kansas on June 9, 1036. He was the owner of the Top Hand Pro Cattle Equipment Company of Central Kansas.

Harland Edward Jones, 81, of Hutchinson, passed away April 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at the home of his son in Hutchinson, Kansas. The son of Bennie Benton and Lillian Fay Jones, he was born in Delphos, Kansas on June 9, 1036. He was the owner of the Top Hand Pro Cattle Equipment Company of Central Kansas.
A proud veteran of The United States Air Force, he took pride in his business, instilling a solid work ethic, teaching the proper use of cattle equipment, and had a general love for the outdoors. His family was his main focus in life.
He is survived by: his son, Robert Edward Jones; one sister, Frances Lorraine Jones Howeth. He was preceded in death by: both of his parents; and two sons, Gary Dale Jones, and Arnold Edward Jones.
Per his request cremation has taken place. A gathering of remembrance for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Old Mission " Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honors Team.
In lieu of flowers memorials by made to Hospice House of Reno County and left in care of the funeral home.
