The Rowdy Wranglers came together Feb. 10 for another exciting 4-H meeting hosted by the Perry family.
Roll call was answered by naming a United States President.
It was announced that whoever got involved in our meeting, such as, making a motion or seconding a motion, would get a sweet treat at the end.
Song leader Jacob Messinger led members in the song, “If you’re happy and you know it.”
For the program, Cade Hibdon did a project talk on ‘Meatless Mondays’ and meatless diets. He explained the nutrition and protein contained in meats and how it’s a critical ingredient for a healthy diet. Miranda Vrbas showed members her cat, Caspian. She informed the club on what type of cat he was, his age, and how long she has had him. Monica Vrbas did a demonstration on how to make a tasty and healthy snack. She sliced up a banana and put a little Nutella on each slice. Seth Rossman presented a tractor safety project talk. He explained the safety precautions to take and his experience with large farm equipment.
Next was recreation. Members had a competitive game of pass the balloon. It sounds easy, but the catch was that you could only use your feet. Sadly, the club lost a balloon to a bumpy ceiling. After all the fun and games, the meeting was adjourned with the 4- H motto.
