Theft Reports

• 9:27 a.m. Monday, 2400 block of Osborne Terrace, a 43-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole two radiators and two carburetors from his barn sometime between March 28 and Monday. Loss was estimated at $600.

Accidents

• 5:11 p.m. Monday, 2800 block of I-35 in Franklin County, Tieasha Ross, 26, Wichita, was driving a 2011 school bus to the School for the Deaf, Olathe, when a tire came across the median, striking the front bumper. The nine occupants of the bus were unharmed in the incident, according to the sheriff’s report. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

• 12:51 p.m. Monday, The Gun Guys, 114 W. Third St., a 52-year-old Ottawa man reported an unknown suspect stole a gun from the shop.

Accidents

• 3:45 p.m. Sunday, 100 block of South Walnut Street, a vehicle driven by Kay Asbury, 49, Ottawa, was southbound on Walnut Street when it struck a tree.

• 11:35 p.m. Sunday, 300 block of South Cedar Street, a vehicle driven by Janet Atchison, 55, Ottawa, struck a parked car owned by Danny Yarbro, 48, Ottawa, and a parked truck owned by Doug Miles, 47, Ottawa. Atchison was cited for inattentive driving, according to the police report.

• 5:45 a.m. Monday, 200 block of South Cedar Street, a vehicle driven by Samantha Salyer, 25, Pomona, struck a parked truck owned by Matthew Bollig, no age given, Ottawa. Salyer was cited with inattentive driving and no seat belt, according to the police report.

• 7:40 a.m. Monday, 1400 block of South Olive Street, a vehicle driven by Regina Powell, 42, Ottawa, was northbound on Olive Street when it struck a vehicle driven by Matthew Bobey, 41, Lawrence, as Bobey was attempting to turn left into a driveway.
