• 1:33 p.m. Tuesday, Ottawa Police Department, 715 W. Second St., Robert Brady, 18, Olpe, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

• 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of South Ash Street, Dallas Ambler, 23, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant. Ambler also was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, according to a police report.

• 12:29 a.m. Tuesday, 500 block of North Birch Street, a 36-year-old Ottawa woman reported a known, 25-year-old Ottawa woman battered her.

Theft Reports

• 6:59 p.m. Sunday, 200 block of West Third Street, a 21-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown suspect stole items from her home.

• 9:58 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of North King Street, a 58-year-old Ottawa woman reported an unknown person stole checks from her residence and forged them at Ottawa restaurants Pizza Hut, Poncho’s and China Palace and at the Ottawa BP convenience store.


• 5:38 a.m. Tuesday, 1000 East Logan Street, a vehicle driven by John Spark, 41, Ottawa, struck a deer.

• 10:26 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of South Cedar Street, a vehicle driven by Thomas Reyes, 30, Ottawa, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Cammie Kraus, 41, Ottawa.

• 5:01 p.m. Tuesday, Neosho County Community College, 900 block of East Logan Street, Helen Cantrell, 84, Ottawa, reported her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

• 8:52 p.m. Friday, 203 S. Ash St., firefighters investigated an unauthorized burning.

• 3:45 p.m. Monday, 506 S. Main St., firefighters responded to an activated smoke detector. No fire was reported.

• Firefighters assisted with 11 medical calls Thursday through Tuesday.
