Considering what passes for fashionable dress styles and standards of conduct in the present day, it must have required a good bit of courage for Callie Shea, a reporter for The Review, Ottawa High School’s student newspaper, to write the article, “Keep Yourself Contained,” which was published in the Dec. 23 Herald.

She likely will be subjected to a substantial amount of ridicule and be the butt of much ill-conceived humor by her so-called peers, but it is my earnest desire that she and all like-minded young people hold to their values.

Never forget that there always will be more people out there who will try to push you from the straight and narrow way, and onto the broad and winding path, than who will do the opposite. Always remember that right is right and wrong is wrong, no matter how many believe in the wrong.
