U.S. Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, R-Kan., is set to visit the Ottawa Industrial Park Monday afternoon during a tour of small businesses in her congressional district.

Jenkins is planning a visit 3:15 p.m. Monday at ATC Composites, 801 E. North St., Ottawa.

The tour is part of the congresswoman’s effort to learn how businesses are preparing for the nation’s so-called “fiscal cliff,” her office said in a release. The fiscal cliff refers to the economic effects that could result from tax increases in the 2013 U.S. budget if Congress is unable to negotiate a plan before the end of 2012.
