Ottawa High School students sign on for Rachel's Challenge

In an essay written one month before she was killed, Rachel Scott -- the first person killed in the Columbine High School massacre April 20, 1999, in Colorado -- challenged her readers to "start a chain reaction of kindness and compassion." One application of this is a "Friends of Rachel" club started at schools with the goal of helping out other students. Ottawa High School students "signed on" to Rachel's message.
