Donna Pauline Malburg, 79, Ottawa, Kan., passed away Feb. 28, 2014, in Paola, Kan.
Family members plan to receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Ottawa, the daughter of Paul and Nora (Oliver) Steinman.
Donna graduated from Ottawa High School in 1953.
She was a near-lifelong resident of the community.
She worked as an assembler for King Radio from 1972 to 1993.
Her hobbies included reading, camping and gardening, picking berries and spending time outdoors. Donna was known to be a wonderful cook, and she enjoyed doing so for family and other gatherings.
Donna was united in marriage to Gale Young in 1963. He passed away in 1971.
She married Elmer “Dutch” Malburg March 29, 1985, in Oklahoma; Dutch preceded her in death Oct. 20, 2012.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Penny Kaub and husband, John, Ottawa; two sons, Scott Chapman and wife, Karen, Ottawa, Bruce Chapman and wife, Judi, Tampa, Kan.; brother, John Steinman and wife, Cheryl, Ottawa; grandchildren, Justin Chapman, Jason Chapman, Justin Kaub, Amy McClay, Jesse Chapman, John Redick and Michelle Beeler; and 14 great-grandchildren
