Police Department Arrests

10:30 a.m. Monday, Ottawa High School, 1120 S. Ash St., a 14-year-old Ottawa girl and a 15-year-old Ottawa girl were arrested on suspicion of battery, according to a police report.

10:49 a.m. Monday, 400 block of West First Street, Meagan Harris, 35, Ottawa, on suspicion of keeping a vicious animal.

9:01 p.m. Monday, 900 block of West Second Street, Michael Kile, 31, Ottawa, on a City of Ottawa warrant.

3:40 p.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of South Mulberry Street, Jason Ellison, 30, Lawrence, on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and on a Douglas County warrant after he was stopped for a traffic infraction, according to a police report.

3:40 p.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of South Mulberry Street, Tracy Floyd, 43, Lawrence, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of depressants, possession of paraphernalia and trafficking contraband.

3:40 p.m. Tuesday, 1400 block of South Mulberry Street, Juan Hernandez, 39, Lawrence, on a Douglas County warrant.
