The Rev. Harold and Mary Holland, Ottawa, celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 25 with a community-wide reception at Washburn Towers, Ottawa, hosted by their three sons and their families, Bruce, Denver, Colo., Brian, Olathe, and Brent, Ottawa.

The couple received more than 50 attending guests and more than 100 cards, emails, phone calls and flower arrangements from Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, North Carolina, California, Idaho, England and Ireland.

Hal and Mary express their deep appreciation to their many relatives and friends for these fond remembrances.

The couple was married 50 years ago in Salina.
