Morgan Barber, chairwoman of the service committee, collected food from the club for the West Franklin Alliance Food Pantry. The social committee planned the Valentine’s Day party for next month. The Wright family is bringing the refreshments, the Swank family is planning the games, and the Roberts family will be planning projects.
The club is planning concessions for Appanoose/Pomona recreation basketball.
Wyatt Wright demonstrated how to read sheet music. Virginia Wright gave a project talk on painting. She brought a sunset painting. Recreation also was led by Virginia, and she led the club in mad libs. Wyatt led the club in singing, “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.” Announcements included an all-level Foods and Nutrition meeting will be 11 a.m. Jan. 26 at the Stoneking home, the county-wide new family dinner is Feb. 6, and County Club Days is Feb. 15.
The club closed with the Barber and Stoneking families providing refreshments of pop and brownies.
