The Jan. 14 4-H meeting was called to order by President Tristan Davis. Kierstyn Blaufuss and Sarah Miller led the flag salute. Paige Stockard and Megan Davis led the song. Roll call was answered by how much snow members thought the area would see this winter. Officer’s reports were presented by their representatives.

The community service committee reported that the club went to the Richmond Nursing Home 9:30 a.m. Dec. 15. The T-shirt committee reported that members should bring designs to the next meeting.

The leader’s report included that enrollment cards were due on Dec. 1, club 4-H Sunday is March 3 at Faith Lutheran Church with the monthly meeting to follow, the project enrollment and drop deadline is April 1, and VIP information needs to be completed for leaders and volunteers.

An educational tour to the Air Traffic Control in Olathe was discussed in unfinished business.

Kamryn Stinebaugh gave a project talk on butchering beef. Jake Dryden gave a project talk on trapping animals.

Morgan Jilek and Kierstyn Blaufuss will give programs in February.

The next meeting was scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 11.
