Evelyn Gillogly volunteered to chair a Round Robin project in November. Each member will bring a brown paper sack containing a 12 1/2-inch quilt block. The bags will then be exchanged for three consecutive months, with each new recipient applying another border to the block. Bags will be returned to the original quilter at the February meeting.
During show and tell, members displayed quilts (cross-stitch, T-shirt and ragged edge flannel), tote bags, a table runner, a necklace and a skirt.
Wanda Roberts will play host to the Oct. 3 meeting at Parker Senior Center. The club’s annual white elephant auction (fundraiser) will take place following the meal and meeting.
