Club leader Ginger Judd announced record books were due that night and were due into the 4-H Extension Office no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 23. She also gave the club an update on the success of the KSHSA Horse Show that the club played host to in July. Mrs. Ginger reported that entries were up from last year, as were the donations given to help host this event.
Member Chloe Ecord made a motion to donate money to the Appanoose Museum as a thank you for using the building for the club’s meetings. The motion was seconded and passed by the club.
The club had its annual elections for the 2013-14 4-H year. The election went as follows: president, Shea Messick; vice president, Raylyn Bollin; secretary, Ruby Hamilton; treasurer, Tanner Sink; reporters, Lynsi Sink and Adelle Higbie; historians, Lane Higbie and Lily Judd; rec. leaders, Katie and Chloe Ecord; and song leaders, Trent Horton and Lynsi Sink. At the conclusion on elections, the meeting was adjourned.
