The regular meeting of the Rantoul Record Breakers was Oct. 8, at the Rahama Baptist Church. President Haley Gormly called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. Roll was answered by “What is your favorite class in school?” Seven members, six adults and two guests were present. Tory Hall lead the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of, “The Itisy Bitsy Spider.” Minutes from last month’s meeting were read by Joshua Born. No changes were made, and the minutes were approved.

For the treasurer’s report, Nikki Delana reported the club had a balance of $791.56

In the leader’s report, it was reported Karrenna Willcut will be helping Darla. Other items discussed included 4-H Sunday Oct. 13 at the OU Lodge at Pomona Lake, an upcoming Chiefs game and country club meetings. Also, members were reminded to fill out their enrollment cards and promote 4-H with cards from Darla.

In new business, it was reported the club was forming new committees, and members should sign up for their preferred committee. Also, the club is thinking about adopting a family for Christmas.

New officers include Haley Gormly, president; Gabriela Sanchez, song leader; Josselyn Sanchez, flag salute leader; and Joshua Born, secretary.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
