Mary Margaret Thomas, Osawatomie, and Tom Peavler, Waverly, won the duplicate bridge matches Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 in Garnett. On Nov. 7, the Ottawa team of Marilyn Grace and Wanda Kirkland placed second.  Anita Dennis of Garnett and Steve Brodmerkle, Neosho Falls, came in third.

On Nov. 14, Grace and Lorna Blakely tied the Garnett team of Faye Leitch and Lynda Feuerborn for second and third.

There will be no duplicate bridge match Nov. 21 due to Thanksgiving; the next match will be 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Garnett Inn.

The Garnett Duplicate Bridge Club welcomes all bridge players 7 p.m. each Wednesday at The Garnett Inn.
