Roll call was taken, and 10 members were present.
The nominating committee presented the officers for 2013, and the club voted on them and accepted them. The new officers for 2013 are: president, Joanne Smith; vice president, Daveen Holzapfel; secretary, Dolores Larsen; treasurer, Norma Sellers; courtesy, Faye Hunt; and humorist/historian, Daveen Holzapfel.
As part of the club’s mission to help the Ottawa Community, it was voted on and passed to give a monetary gift to Hope House.
The program was a DVD entitled, “Natural Wonders of the Northeast Coast.” It showed the light houses, the birds and other animals that live there plus the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the ocean. It was enjoyed by all.
Refreshments were served, which included a wonderful pumpkin pie dessert, nuts, corn candy, apple cider, coffee and water.
The clubs next meeting is a Christmas Party Dec. 7 at the home of Frances O’Banion. There is no meeting in January.
