Roll call was the answer to the question, “What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?”
The minutes from the October meeting were unavailable and will be read next meeting.
Leader’s report included a reminder that enrollment cards are due Dec. 1. The club will have a float in the Williamsburg Christmas Parade Dec. 1, and Clover Buds will be holding a meeting Dec. 13 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The community committee representative asked each club member to bring two cans and two boxed items (four total) to the December meeting, which will then be taken to Hope House. The parade committee announced that there will be a float meeting/arts and crafts meeting 2:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Milliken’s house.
New business covered included the emailing of the 4-H sign-up sheets for the 2012-2013 year and the possibility of holding a drawing for attendance awards.
The recreation committee had club members sing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” in rounds and play “Minute to Win It Cookie Face.”
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. The next meeting will be Dec 9. The club will meet at 5 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Williamsburg for the meeting and combine with church members for caroling around town at 6 pm. Each family is to bring six dozen cookies to donate for cookie plates to be given as gifts. New members always are welcome.
